New York dressed itself in snow and light to become the stage for Christmas Pop. Between the sparkling trees of Central Park and the neon glow of Times Square, past centuries met modern beats: knights in shining armor crossed paths with elegant figures out of fairy tales, while voices rose to bring Christmas back in a way the world had never seen.
The Cast of Voices
At the heart of the story is Amanda Sweet, radiant and commanding, her tiara and emerald gown glowing against the winter night. Her presence anchors the project, blending elegance with pop energy.
By her side stands Alexander Walker, armored and luminous, a knight of the new century. His figure in Times Square —steel and neon together— captures the essence of Christmas Pop: tradition meeting the future.
Riya Kapoor adds warmth and cultural fusion. With her British-Indian accent and luminous smile, she embodies the global spirit of the album, carrying the sound beyond borders.
Sofía Tsaava introduces drama and mystery. Her image in a crimson dress, holding a bright red apple against the snow, feels like a living fairy tale. Her powerful voice is the spark of magic that ties the visual narrative together.
Rediscovering Forgotten Carols
One of the most fascinating aspects of Christmas Pop is the research behind its lyrics. The creative team explored carols written more than 500 years ago, drawing from manuscripts and folk traditions across France, Spain, Germany, Sweden, and England. These ancient texts were given new melodies and arrangements, transforming forgotten verses into vibrant, modern pop anthems.
The result is an album that honors Europe’s deep Christmas heritage while reinventing it for today’s audience.
The Magic of the Shoot
now-covered parks, twinkling lights wrapped around trees, and the endless energy of New York became the backdrop of this production. Amanda’s joy in the streets, Alexander’s futuristic knight armor reflecting the city’s glow, Riya’s elegance, and Sofía’s theatrical presence turned the shoot into something larger than life.
Every frame feels like a fusion of times and genres: medieval chants colliding with pop hooks, fairy-tale imagery dissolving into the pulse of neon nights.
